Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities.

What we have built in

This site is designed with the following in mind:

• Clear heading structure with one main heading per page and a logical order.
• Text and background color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for readable body text.
• Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline so you can always see where you are.
• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
• Real labels on every form field, not placeholder text alone.
• Descriptive text for meaningful images and icons.
• Respect for the reduced-motion setting on your device.
• Information that is never conveyed by color alone.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time task. We review our site as we add and change content, and we work to fix issues as we find them.
